About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer, Learning Technologies to join our Studio for Teaching and Learning team at Saint Mary's University. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing educational programs, training materials, and learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of our learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop educational programs, training materials, and learning experiences that align with our institutional goals and objectives.
  • Utilize various learning technologies and tools to enhance curriculum delivery and engagement.
  • Conduct analysis and evaluation to identify and request learning technologies that satisfy curriculum development needs.
  • Collaborate with faculty and colleagues to analyze instructional and course outcomes.
  • Provide expertise in planning, developing, and delivering learning experiences in various learning spaces, particularly online.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field such as Adult Education, Curriculum Design, Computer Science, Business, or Organizational Development.
  • Expertise in utilizing various learning technologies and tools.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, pedagogy, and andragogy.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
