Director of Membership Growth and Retention

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Membership Growth and Retention. This key role will be responsible for driving membership growth and retention, filling programs and services to capacity, and cultivating partnerships to enhance the member journey.
Key Responsibilities- Membership Growth and Retention: Develop and implement strategies to increase membership numbers and retention rates, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Program and Service Development: Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement programs and services that meet the needs of our members and drive business growth.
- Partnership Development: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, sponsors, and community partners, to enhance the member experience and drive business growth.
- Marketing and Communications: Develop and implement effective marketing and communications strategies to promote our programs and services and drive business growth.
- Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership and direction to the Marketing and Guest Service teams, including hiring, training, mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the effective operation of our programs and services, including monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and making recommendations for improvement.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of our organizational strategy and policy framework, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Education: Post-secondary degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Experience: At least five years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of driving business growth and developing effective marketing and communications strategies.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve business objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
