Full-Time Studio Camera Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Studio Camera Operator to join our team at Rogers Sports & Media. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating studio cameras, including pedestal, handheld, and jib, for daily morning shows and all studio productions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate studio cameras to capture high-quality footage for live broadcasts
  • Liaise with production staff, including directors and producers, to ensure seamless execution of live shows
  • Collaborate with studio hosts and talent to deliver engaging and informative content
  • Assist with staging and setup of camera equipment
  • Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure smooth live broadcasts
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a camera operator in a live broadcast environment
  • Deep technical knowledge of broadcast cameras and ancillary equipment
  • Excellent skills in color grading and camera operation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with knowledge of broadcast control systems and peripherals
