Job Title: Superintendent 2

At Jardeg-Construction, we are seeking an experienced Superintendent 2 to lead our construction projects from the earliest stages to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing projects to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in preconstruction services, including site logistics, project scheduling, and design review.
  • Manage site staffing, quality control, sub-trade coordination, and field cost control.
  • Determine construction methods, materials quantities, equipment, and work schedules.
  • Coordinate work with various crafts, company departments, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain relationships with engineering, estimating, and planning teams to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Monitor and implement safety programs and documents.
  • Take an active role in hiring, training, and monitoring field personnel.
  • Assist with project meetings and claim resolution.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of construction experience, with a focus on mid/large-scale structural concrete work.
  • Experience in building concrete water retaining structures is essential.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical installations is required.
  • Direct experience with concrete forming systems, temporary works, and engineering applications.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate field execution resources and teams.
  • Comprehension of the complete life cycle of a water/wastewater treatment plant project.
  • Interest in being mobile and tackling challenging projects throughout BC.
  • Well-rounded understanding of Earthwork, Concrete, Process Mech, and Elec.
  • Experience managing project field execution up to $25M.
  • Clear comprehension of project scheduling and planning principles.
Compensation:
  • $105,000 - $137,500 per annum.
  • Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
