Job Summary

SADA Cultural Daycare and Afterschool Inc. is seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Professional to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1)
  • Child development worker (ECE level 2)
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
