Job Title: Childcare Worker

Gilgal Child Care Centre & OSC is seeking a qualified Childcare Worker to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to work with children in a child care centre setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging children in activities, guiding their development, and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support children's learning and development.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE level 1) certification.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a child care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced child care centre environment, interacting with children, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis.
