Permanent Full-Time Afternoon Shift Custodian at Estevan Comprehensive School

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Caretaker to join our team at Estevan Comprehensive School. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the school premises, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the school premises, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Operate and maintain various equipment and machinery, including tractors, mowers, and cleaning equipment.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing and mechanical tasks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols.
- Collaborate with other staff members to achieve school goals and objectives.
- Grade 10 education (Grade 12 or equivalent preferred)
- Valid Fireman's Certificate within the first 12 months of employment
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience in the caretaking field (asset)
- Demonstrated understanding of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment
- General mechanical and plumbing knowledge and aptitude
- Ability to operate tractors, mowers, and equipment efficiently and safely
- Knowledge of computers and applicable software
- Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
