Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Heritage Indian Cuisine Ltd. as a key member of our culinary department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Direct and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members in the food service department.
    • Establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food and beverages meet the highest quality and safety standards.
    • Implement and maintain effective quality control measures to prevent foodborne illnesses.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee performance.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management as required.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to train and develop staff members to meet the needs of the department.
