Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Bag Machine Operator to join our team at Gould's Packaging Industries lte. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our plastic bag manufacturing equipment, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain plastic bag manufacturing equipment, including extruders, calenders, and packaging machines
  • Monitor and control production processes to ensure high-quality products and efficient production
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Collaborate with production team members to achieve production goals and objectives
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with company standards
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong knowledge of plastic bag manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
