At Waste Management Canada, we're seeking a skilled Senior Account Executive to join our team. As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue expansion by developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and prospecting for new sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow billable value in assigned accounts through proactive account retention strategies.
  • Prevent customer account losses by selling permanent new waste streams, services, and products to current and prospective customers.
  • Initiate business-to-business sales relationships and develop sound prospect development plans.
  • Manage prospects and maintain sales pipeline to achieve new sales goals.
  • Minimize revenue and account losses by maintaining SSDO relationship health standards and diffusing cancellation requests.
  • Meet or exceed sales call activity goals for proactive account retention.
  • Increase revenue and profitability by executing sound plans on retention calls to improve customer service and/or profitability.
  • Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (accredited) or equivalent experience.
  • 4 years of work experience in direct business-to-business sales, cold calling, and phone-based prospecting resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments.
  • Bilingual (French and English) - We require a bilingual speaking executive due to frequent interactions and communications with employees, customers, and others located outside of Quebec.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated annual salary of $80,000 - $100,000 based on location and performance.
