In this role as Lead Business Consultant specializing in Front Office (Portfolio construction, Compliance checks, Trading), you will play a key part in expanding our market unit in a strategic vertical for SimCorp.

We prioritize delivering high-quality outcomes to our customers, and your participation will be instrumental in achieving this goal.

You will work full-time on implementation projects, leveraging your expertise in the Front Office area to own specific work streams of the project plan and engage directly with clients' end users (portfolio managers, traders, compliance, and performance team members) from design to delivery.

As a trusted advisor, you will act as an important sparring partner for SimCorp clients, monitoring, coordinating, and escalating issues as needed with project stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead major parts of SimCorp Dimension implementation projects, outlining solutions for optimal use of the platform by customers, specifically asset managers, asset owners, insurers, and banks.
  • Closely collaborate with project managers to develop successful projects and ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop requirement specifications for enhancements to our product management, identifying opportunities to offer tailored services beyond the project scope to our customers.
  • Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote topics across projects.
  • Actively participate in know-how exchange with international colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Bring a proven track record as an Analyst or (Implementation) Consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks, or consulting firms, with expertise in portfolio management, trading, and order management.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of commercial awareness, customer orientation, and quality consciousness.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A strong background in finance, preferably with experience in implementing and configuring financial software.
  • Experience working with asset managers, asset owners, banks, or consulting firms.
  • Familiarity with regulatory topics, such as Solvency II, and risk management.
