About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at Real Blue Roofing Services Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of roofing systems, including built-up roofing systems, asphalt shingles, and metal roofs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Roof Installation and Repair: Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel, and repair existing roofs to ensure they are watertight and secure.
  • Roof Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect roofs to identify potential issues and perform routine maintenance to prevent damage and extend the lifespan of the roof.
  • Material Handling and Storage: Handle and store roofing materials, including asphalt shingles, metal roofing panels, and other materials, in a safe and organized manner.
  • Collaboration with Team Members: Work closely with other team members to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing or a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, dependability, reliability, and team player.
