Job Title: Roofing Specialist

At PAYLESS ROOFING INC., we are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team. As a Roofing Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and repairing roofs using various materials, including asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install or replace roofing materials on sloped roofs of buildings
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
  • Estimate costs and materials, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Work Environment:

As a Roofing Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads. You will also work under pressure and be required to work overtime.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
