We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Job SummaryThe Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with respiratory conditions, including acute and chronic cardio-respiratory illnesses. You will work closely with our medical staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with respiratory conditions, including acute and chronic cardio-respiratory illnesses
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
- Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy living and disease management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program
- Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligible for registration
- Current valid BC Driver's License as required in the specific practice area
