We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with respiratory disorders. This will involve conducting initial and ongoing client assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program
- Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligible for registration
- Current valid BC Driver's License as required in the specific practice area
