Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual ETL Developer Support Specialist to join our team at Direct IT Recruiting Inc. as a Hybrid ETL Support Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring systems, debugging, and identifying solutions to Data Hub application issues, as well as enhancing monitoring and automation to existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and Troubleshoot: Monitor systems, debug, and identify solutions to Data Hub application issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing support load.
  2. Enhance Monitoring and Automation: Work on enhancements and improvements to existing solutions, increasing visibility of issues and reducing support load.
  3. Issue Resolution: Ensure all issues are properly logged, and escalate unresolved issues to internal teams as needed.
  4. Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, providing prompt and accurate feedback, and following up to ensure systems are fully functional.
  5. Documentation: Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuity.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering.
  2. Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in an IT support role, with expertise in ETL and ETL tools, Microsoft's Business Intelligence Suite, and other relevant technologies.
  3. Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English (French is a plus), with ability to work independently or as part of a group under limited supervision.
  4. Additional Requirements: Experience working with JIRA and GitHub, CI/CD, and ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
