Part-time Child Psychiatrist

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Part-time Child Psychiatrist to join our team. As a Child Psychiatrist (Early Childhood), you will be responsible for providing mental health services to children aged 0-6 years with significant emotional and/or behavioral problems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement new programs to support the mental health needs of children and families
- Collaborate with community service providers, such as teachers and school counselors, to provide comprehensive care
- Participate in the training and education of medical students, residents, and other allied health professionals
- Contribute to research and educational projects in partnership with the UBC Faculty of Medicine
- Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Full
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership
- Good knowledge of child relational/developmental/psychotherapeutic theory and practice
