We are seeking a highly skilled Field Survey Assistant to join our Land Development team at McIntosh Perry. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our experienced surveyors to provide professional survey services for various infrastructure projects.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with data preparation, in-field calculations, and equipment maintenance. You will also be involved in completing vehicle inspections, maintaining a safe work environment, and following company Health and Safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data preparation and calculations for land development projects
  • Operate and maintain survey equipment, including GPS and total stations
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure all equipment is in good working condition
  • Maintain a safe work environment and follow company Health and Safety policies
  • Collaborate with surveyors to ensure accurate and timely project delivery

Requirements:

  • Completion of a college diploma in a related field, such as survey technology or civil engineering technology
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to work in rugged environments and carry equipment
  • Experience with land surveying and geomatics software (asset)
