About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Student to join our Front End Lab team at TechInsights Inc. As a Front End Lab Co-op Student, you will be responsible for documenting the disassembly of consumer electronic devices through high-resolution photography, identifying and cataloging the components found inside, and entering them into our inventory management system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble consumer electronics and capture high-quality photos of the process
  • Identify and catalog electronic components and sub-systems
  • Work with DSLR cameras, photo-editing software, hand tools, and power tools
  • Gain hands-on experience with specialized lab equipment
Requirements
  • Post-secondary student enrolled in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields
  • Keen interest in or experience with microelectronics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
