Job Description:

BlackBerry QNX is a leading provider of safe and secure operating systems, hypervisors, frameworks, and development tools. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Student to join our team as a Software Developer. In this role, you will support customer activities through direct interaction with customer engineering, reproduce complex issues on reference and customer-provided hardware, and instrument and debug QNX reference code.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing post-secondary education in a related field
  • Knowledge of UNIX-style OS's (BSD, Linux)
  • Strong C language skills
  • Customer relation/interaction skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Eclipse-based tools is an asset
  • Previous experience with GCC tools set and GDB debugging is an asset
