The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Northern Canada. As a key member of our Remediation Program Management team, you will be responsible for planning and managing environmental assessments and remediation of oil and gas sites in the Northwest Territories and Yukon.

A Day in the Life
  • You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to solve complex issues for our clients.
  • You will prepare Health and Safety plans and Emergency response plans.
  • You will prepare proposals and cost estimates, schedule field staff and subcontractors, and compile data for reports.
  • You will be responsible for project accounting, tracking, and reporting requirements.
  • You will train junior staff in environmental practices and on-site health and safety.
  • You will interface with clients to ensure needs are met and projects are progressing.
  • You will participate in site visits during field programs.
What You'll Bring
  • University degree or diploma in engineering, natural, or earth sciences.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in contaminated site assessments and conceptual site models of Upstream oil and gas sites.
  • Experience working in the north is preferred.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety procedures in the workplace.
  • Professional designation with eligibility to register in NWT and Yukon is preferred.
