Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Grizz Hotel. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Group Arrivals and Departures: Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring all guests are checked in and out accurately.
  • Room Reservations: Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, maintaining accurate records and communicating with guests accordingly.
  • Guest Information: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, providing excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Special Needs: Assist guests with special needs, ensuring their requirements are met and their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
  • Wake-Up Calls: Contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls, ensuring they are aware of their schedule and any important information.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and tidy environment for guests.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
