About the Role
We are seeking a Safety Compliance Specialist to join our team at EBC. This is a permanent position based in East York of the GTA.
As a Safety Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting Health & Safety compliance across multiple sites. You will audit, inspect, and verify safety planning, organization, and implementation of safety activities related to the prevention of accidents and occupational injuries on construction sites.
You will advise and make recommendations to HSE Coordinators as well as project supervisors and management on safety matters. You will also assist the company in maintaining its COR certification by ensuring compliance, spot auditing, identifying gaps, outlining an action plan, and providing input in the development of policies, programs, documentation, and training resources for the safety team, management, supervisors, and workers.
This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. You must have excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
