Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct full life-cycle recruitment for field and trade positions, including sourcing, screening resumes, conducting interviews, reference checks, and extending job offers.
  • Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates, leveraging multiple recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, industry events, and employee referrals.
  • Collaborate with site leaders to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment plans to meet those needs.
  • Support community partnership programs aimed at enhancing field labor pipelines and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the recruitment process.
  • Assist in creating and posting job descriptions that accurately reflect the role and attract the appropriate candidates.
  • Work with the compensation team to ensure competitive and market-aligned offers are made to candidates.

Requirements:

  • Educational background in human resources, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Bilingual English-French.
  • 3+ years of field recruitment experience, with a proven track record in hiring trade and field roles.
  • Demonstrated success in building relationships with internal stakeholders and external community partners.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and influence decisions across various audiences.
  • Experience in developing and implementing recruitment strategies, especially in hard-to-fill, geographically diverse, or specialized roles.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Independent and collaborative work style with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the recruitment process.
