Executive Pastry Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Pastry Specialist to join our team at Rocky Mountain Chocolate. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative pastry and dessert menus that exceed our customers' expectations.
Responsibilities:- Estimate and manage supplies and food costs, maintaining accurate records of consumption and sales.
- Analyze operating costs and other data to inform menu development and kitchen operations.
- Supervise and train specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items that meet our high quality standards.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and banquets.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring efficient and safe kitchen operations.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and food safety.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Cook Trade Certification and Food Safety Certificate.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
