Job Summary

Magnum Cementing Services is seeking a Greenhand to join our team. As a Greenhand, you will be responsible for operating, driving, and caring for field equipment, performing shop maintenance, and supporting the operational business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the shop and yard are clean and organized, including floors, washrooms, coffee rooms, and clean/wash bay.
  • Put parts and tools away in designated storage locations.
  • Assist with cleaning and working on equipment.
  • Support crews in preparing for jobs.
  • Assist in the bulk plant as needed.
  • Complete shop checklists.
  • Perform oil changes on company pickup trucks within 200 km of the operation.
  • Understand and assist with rigging in and out units, running the bulk unit, and location clean up.
  • Learn the terminologies and operation of Magnum's equipment and components related to cementing oil and gas wells.
  • Perform laundry duties and ensure cleaned items are stored in designated areas.
  • Participate in training and development activities.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to move and lift heavy objects up to 23 kg, bend, stand, and climb repeatedly for extended periods.
  • Ability to be on call 24/7 on a 15 days on, 6 days off rotational schedule, remaining fit for duty at all times.
  • Legally eligible to work in the country where the role is based.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar environment, such as shop and rig sites, remote locations.
  • Interest in obtaining a Class 1 (Canada) / Class A CDL (U.S.) license and progressing in field operations.
  • Familiarity with operating and maintaining equipment.
  • Desire to learn and grow with the company.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliability, and dependability.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
  • Understanding of the importance of safety.
  • Team player and customer service focused.
  • Demonstrated initiative and results-oriented.
