Job Summary: We are seeking a Licensed Optician to join our team at LensCrafters in Red Deer, AB.

Job Description: The Licensed Optician will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, creating custom eyewear, and maintaining a high level of optical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers and set expectations
  • Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
  • Act as a leader in optical acumen
  • Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail
  • Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions
  • Accurately use technology, demonstrate exceptional product knowledge, and use appropriate tools
  • Proactively address customer issues, ensure satisfaction, and exceed expectations
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities
  • Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies
  • Maintain a safe work environment, adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, state licensure, and optical dispensing experience. You should possess strong customer service skills, knowledge of current store merchandise, and basic math skills.
