Role Overview

The Sales Associate plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth at LensCrafters. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cultivating existing customer relationships, building new ones, and providing personalized recommendations to ensure every patient and customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through effective customer engagement and relationship-building.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings, ensuring customers receive the best possible vision solutions.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Participate in creating a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintain a clean, attractive, and organized store appearance, including displays and inventory.
  • Contribute to an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect and empathy.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
  • Ability to sell through effective use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Self-motivation and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
