Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for dental examinations, ordering dental and office supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Preparation
    • Prepare patients for dental examinations, including taking and developing X-rays
    • Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health
  • Supply Management
    • Order dental and office supplies as needed
    • Maintain and organize supplies to ensure efficient workflow
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Perform reception and clerical duties, including scheduling and confirming appointments
    • Record dental procedures performed on patients and maintain accurate records
    • Invoice patients for dental services
  • Instrument Maintenance
    • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
    • Prepare dental instruments and filling materials as needed
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a dental office or related field
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

    • Client focus and excellent interpersonal skills
    • Efficient and accurate with a strong attention to detail
