About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Kannan Dental Centre. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Order and maintain dental and office supplies, ensuring our clinic is well-stocked and efficient.
  • Prepare dental instruments and materials, adhering to strict hygiene and sterilization protocols.
  • Perform reception and clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring our patients receive timely and effective care.
  • Take and develop X-rays, as required, to support our dental team's diagnostic needs.
  • Record dental procedures performed on patients, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Invoice patients for dental services, ensuring timely and efficient billing processes.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
