Job Title: Civil Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team at IBI Group. As a key member of our Civil Engineering Team, you will be responsible for coordinating projects, liaising with clients and municipalities, and completing engineering designs and studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project coordination and client liaison
  2. Completion of engineering designs and studies
  3. Working with the Design & Engineering teams to create iconic structures and spaces

Role Accountabilities:

  1. Project engineer of existing projects and urban development projects
  2. Complete servicing and grading designs utilizing Civil-3D
  3. Serve as a focal point for all project-related communications with clients
  4. Work closely with the civil engineering team to ensure designs align with business objectives
  5. Assist with the delivery of technical designs within cost, schedule, and quality parameters
  6. Prepare and review engineering design drawings and associated reports
  7. Manage all stages of the technical design by engineering disciplines and other technical specialists
  8. Lead the identification of technical design/support resource requirements and provide input into resources planning
Requirements:
  1. A university degree or college diploma in Civil Engineering
  2. P. Eng status or Eligibility for registration with PEO
  3. 5 to 10 years of land development design and municipal infrastructure experience
  4. Ability to adapt well to change and excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
  5. Proficient relationship-building skills
  6. Ability to work with a multi-disciplined team
  7. Show initiative and ability to work independently
  8. A commitment to excellence and high-quality work
  9. Fluent in the use of AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MS Office
