In this key position, you will provide college-wide leadership in relation to information technology services needs and manage the department in support of the academic mission and institutional objectives. You will be responsible for providing leadership for IT-related responsibilities, gathering current and projected needs, requirements, and options/recommendations in a collaborative manner with other college managers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven capacity for effective leadership, teamwork, collaboration, and consensus-building. They will possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A strong sense of ethics and discretion is also essential.

We are looking for a candidate with at least eight years of relevant experience in information technologies, of which at least four have been in a management position, ideally within a post-secondary educational milieu or non-profit organizations. A university degree in an appropriate information technologies discipline or a related field is required. Knowledge and experience with project management methods, Windows Servers (2019/2022), cloud-based solutions (Microsoft Azure), firewalls, routers, switches, disaster recovery planning, Exchange Server, security technologies, network infrastructure, MS 365, VMWare virtual operating environment, data communications, storage array technologies, network access control (NAC), IP management, and fluent communication in both English and French languages are assets.
