The Director of Operations at Mon Sheong Foundation is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of non-core and support functions.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this individual will provide strategic leadership, guidance, and support to these functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary leadership and input on strategic decisions and processes in conjunction with the COO;
  • Work collaboratively with the COO to formulate and develop the foundation's vision, mission, strategic plans, and procedures;
  • Oversee and manage assigned non-core and support functions activities, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance evaluation;
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including public relations issues, complaint resolutions, and communications strategy;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency;
  • Support the development of annual performance goals and objectives, budgets, and resource allocation;
  • Lead key standing committees and collaborate with the Board on effective operations of various units;
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field;
  • At least 5 years of management experience, preferably in public or non-profit environments;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage key constituent relationships and foster collaboration;
  • Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving, and creative approach to project management and administration;
  • Bilingual – English and Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin an asset);

In line with industry standards, we offer a competitive salary range estimated between $80,000 to $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
