Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Processing Supervisor to join our team at Barburrito at University of Alberta. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and preparation of our food products, ensuring high-quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and supervise staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Prepare production reports and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate and schedule activities of workers, ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure compliance with SQF and CFIA regulations
  • Develop and maintain a culture of safety and security within the team
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in food processing or a related field
  • Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Certificate
  • Knowledge of Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations and CIP/SIP systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
