Job Description for Senior Land Surveyor

Next Power Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Land Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our land survey team, you will be responsible for conducting economic analyses, feasibility studies, and developing procedures to clean up contaminated sites. You will also plan and design highway/roadway projects, act as project or site supervisor for land survey or construction work, and conduct site visits to gather relevant information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct economic analyses and feasibility studies to identify potential project opportunities and risks.
  • Develop procedures to clean up contaminated sites and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Plan and design highway/roadway projects, including developing construction specifications and procedures.
  • Act as project or site supervisor for land survey or construction work, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct site visits to gather relevant information and conduct technical analyses of survey and field data.
Requirements
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
