Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Human Resources, Payroll & Benefits Technician. This is a dual-reporting position that requires strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide payroll functions, web support, data entry, records management, time and attendance, and administrative support functions.
  • Deal with numerous and diverse duties to ensure priorities and deadlines are met.
  • Act as the first point of contact for Human Resources.
Requirements

A Business Administration Diploma or Office Administration Certificate plus 3 years related payroll or accounting experience and training in a computerized payroll system including benefits plan administration.

Completion of Canadian Payroll Association courses towards Payroll Compliance Practitioner: Payroll Compliance Legislation and Payroll Fundamentals 1 and ongoing training with respect to regulations and legislation.

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office software, and outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
