Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cancer Care Specialist to join our team at BC Cancer in British Columbia. As a key member of our oncology department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of reducing the incidence of cancer.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner in Oncology to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to research and education initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive cancer care to patients in British Columbia
  • Collaborating with our oncology team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participating in research and education initiatives to improve cancer care outcomes
  • Conducting regular patient assessments and developing personalized care plans

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for licensure as a specialist in British Columbia
  • Canadian certification (FRCP, FRCS, or CCFP)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
