Job Description

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is a Canadian supplemental education provider with a long history of helping students improve their grades since 1984.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Education Director to join our team. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $40,000 per year plus incentive bonuses up to $5,000 extra.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum university degree, preferably in Social Sciences, Languages, Math, or Business. Strong secondary school mathematics skills are an asset, as is the ability to speak additional languages such as Cantonese.

As Education Director, you will be responsible for managing the centre's operations, working closely with staff, teachers, parents, and students. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Informing inquiring parents about our Oxford Learning programs
  • Organizing schedules for students, staff, and teachers
  • Setting up and administering assessments
  • Establishing and overseeing student learning programs
  • Liaising with members of the community (schools, sports teams, and local businesses)
  • Maintaining contact with parents and meeting with them to discuss their child's progress
  • Ensuring that the Oxford Learning philosophy is being maintained throughout the centre
  • Creatings a fun and energetic learning environment on a daily basis

To succeed in this role, you will need strong computer skills, particularly with MS Office and online communication apps. You should also have excellent phone skills and experience in customer service, preferably with a background in sales.
