Job Title: Retail Store Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Top Shelf Liquor Store. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff and assign sales workers to duties
  • Exhibit designers plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces and other exhibitions
  • Order merchandise and authorize return of merchandise
  • Establish work schedules and sell merchandise
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory and supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers

Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Flexibility and reliability

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced retail environment
  • Tight deadlines and high volume of sales
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Personal Suitability:

  • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and reliability

Experience:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
