Medical Clinic Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Clinic Receptionist to join our team at Physioplus Health and Wellness. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Greets patients and visitors, directs them to appropriate areas, and provides basic information.
- Operates the switchboard, answers phone calls, and relays messages.
- Processes customer service requests, obtains and records necessary information, and resolves issues in a timely manner.
- Performs data entry, maintains accurate records, and ensures confidentiality of patient information.
- Provides directory assistance, arranges teleconferences, and performs basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Assists with scheduling appointments, sending invoices, and receiving payments.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace, adheres to safety protocols, and promotes a positive work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a front desk or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
The Medical Clinic Receptionist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
