About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our information risk management efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization's risk management practices are effective and aligned with industry best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive information risk management strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of assurance professionals to conduct risk assessments, testing, and monitoring activities.
  • Ensure that all risk management activities are conducted in accordance with established methodologies and standards.
  • Document and report on risk management findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with business initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in information security and/or technology risk within a large enterprise.
  • Demonstrated experience in control testing and/or assurance.
  • University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of industry best practices in information risk management.
  • Recognized professional designations (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CRISC).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous risk advisory consulting experience.
  • Strong business writing skills.
  • Competencies in collaboration, problem-solving, and influencing key risk decisions.

Location and Salary

This role is based in Toronto, Ontario, with a salary range of $107,730 - $200,070 CAD per annum. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions and relevant job-related factors.
