Information Technology Risk Management Lead

As a key member of Munich Re America's audit team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effectiveness of our governance, compliance, risk management, and internal controls systems.
The successful candidate will possess sound knowledge of core IT processes, including application development, change management, logical & information security, networking, vulnerability & patch management, computer operations and business continuity. They will provide credible specialist advice on technology controls to Internal Audit and Management at large.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with five to seven years plus of IT audit or information technology experience and demonstrated IT subject matter expertise. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, business/finance or equivalent training along with relevant technology experience.
The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This opportunity is located in Toronto, where you can enjoy a hybrid work structure with two days in the office.

As a trusted advisor, you will make sound recommendations for audit finding rankings and effectively support conclusions during discussions with audit clients.
To be considered for this role, you must have strong knowledge of IT auditing standards and control frameworks such as IIA, COBIT, NIST Cyber, CSC, and ISO2700x. A CISA and / or CISSP Certification is required for those with an audit background. Other technical / IT security certifications are a plus.
