Job Title: Sales Manager
Job Summary:
AE Concrete is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Sales team, developing and implementing strategic sales plans, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Sales team, including providing direction, motivation, and training to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive business growth and expand market presence.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to develop innovative sales strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Production, Engineering, and Quality, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales initiatives and processes.
- Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and generate regular reports to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform strategic decision-making and stay ahead of the curve.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build relationships and promote brand awareness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of five years of experience in sales management, plus an additional five years in direct sales - preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Knowledge of civil infrastructure, natural resources, forestry, industrial, and/or mining is considered an asset.
