Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Cannabis Industry Financial Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax returns, and reconciling accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required by management.
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll and reconcile accounts to prevent discrepancies.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. You will work 35 hours per week in a dynamic and growing industry.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, efficient, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
