About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Consultant or Senior Consultant in our Strategic Procurement Practice at KPMG-Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and recommend procurement leading practices and assess client organizations' performance gaps or opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop detailed and pragmatic roadmaps, focusing on previously identified monetary, efficiency, and/or profit capture gains.
  • Support clients in the development of a target operating model that promotes sound governance, continuous optimization of existing processes, and performance-based category management, within an adapted organizational structure, adequately supported by technology.
  • Support clients in the selection, implementation, preparation, and configuration of their procurement system.
  • Support and contribute to the training and development of a team of professionals in the successful achievement of the above.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering, or equivalent undergraduate degree combined with relevant work experience.
  • Consulting experience (internal or external) considered a strong asset.
  • 1-3 years of related experience for a Consultant role, and 3-4 years of related experience for a Senior Consultant role.
  • Experience in business transformation, whether in terms of performance improvement, process review, drafting of governance documents, and/or technology redesign.
  • Experience, curiosity, and interest in rapidly evolving procurement topics, such as sustainable sourcing, third-party risk management, among others.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end procurement solutions (Ivalua, Coupa, SAP Ariba, etc.) would be an asset.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills in French and English.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and synthesize findings and conclusions.
  • Autonomy and a strong sense of initiative.
  • Meticulous and conscientious.
  • Strong leadership skills.
