About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to join our team at CAE. As a key member of our procurement operations, you will play a pivotal role in elevating the efficiency and effectiveness of our global procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, prioritizing superior efficiency, value, and user experience for all stakeholders involved in procuring goods and services.
  • Best Practice Development: Develop and implement best practices, standards, and guidelines to streamline procurement operations, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
  • Strategic Vision Execution: Develop, articulate, and execute the strategic vision and objectives of central-led initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's overarching goals.

Requirements

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
  • Procurement Experience: 8-10 years of progressive experience in procurement operations, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence, process optimization, and strategic initiatives.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Change Management: Strong change management skills with experience leading organizational change initiatives.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
