Provide Essential Support to Cancer Patients and Families

As a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate psychosocial support to individuals and families navigating the challenges of cancer. Your expertise in counselling and guidance will empower patients and their loved ones to cope with emotional, practical, and social aspects of their journey.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and provide individual and group counselling to address the diverse needs of patients and families facing cancer diagnoses.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, sharing insights and contributing to comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Develop and facilitate support groups, workshops, and educational programs to enhance coping mechanisms and promote well-being.
  • Connect patients and families with community resources and support networks to ensure holistic care.
  • Advocate for the needs of patients and their families, ensuring their voices are heard and their concerns addressed.

Your Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Experience working with individuals and families facing cancer diagnoses is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • A commitment to providing culturally sensitive and compassionate care is paramount.
