Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team at the Upper Grand District School Board. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and planning support to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decisions
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support budgeting and planning processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide training and support to staff on financial systems and processes
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
