The IS2 organization seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a production team in Scarborough, Ontario. As a key member of our operations management team, you will be responsible for overseeing workflow, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing efficiency in your assigned area.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise production staff to uphold quality benchmarks and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough investigations of workplace incidents, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions.
- Monitor and document production outputs, prepare daily reports, and address variances.
- Implement cost-control strategies and work to reduce production waste and scrap.
- A proven track record of leadership experience in a supervisory or lead-hand role, including expertise in 5S, lean manufacturing, and corrective actions.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and plan tasks effectively.
- Excellent decision-making, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with material requirements planning systems and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
- Demonstrated commitment to following safe work practices and effective team collaboration.
- Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with continuous deadlines, multiple demands, and interruptions.
- Wearing required personal protective equipment (safety glasses, steel toe footwear, and hearing protection).
Days: Monday - Friday
Afternoons: Monday - Friday
An attractive salary range of $80,000 - $85,000 per annum, complemented by a comprehensive benefit package (dental, health).
