About the Role

At Canadian Blood Services, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Collections Operation West - Lower Mainland Mobiles team.

In this pivotal role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe collection of blood and blood products. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to effectively interact with donors, while your technical expertise will ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper documentation.

You will work collaboratively as part of a diverse team environment, leveraging your interpersonal skills to foster a positive donor experience and encourage donations. With your ability to think critically and problem-solve, you will provide coaching and consultation to donor centre staff as needed.

Your Skills and Qualifications
  • A current license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the province.
  • Two years of experience working as a nurse, with certification in First Aid and CPR considered an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with donors and colleagues.
